Hello and thank you for considering me for your wedding photography.

If you are looking for a creative Boise wedding photographer who is adept at capturing romantic candids, a contemporary journalistic view, natural-looking 'formals' or a combination of all these styles, then this may be the right place for you as I have worked extensively in many different situations in the photographic trade since turning Professional while in the British Isles in the late 70's.

Also, when you secure me as your wedding photographer I will photograph your wedding myself, as I have worked independently for three decades now.

I'm sure you will want the right balance of all photographic styles while combining fair pricing with photographic excellence, so please compare, then decide. My wedding galleries are here.

I have recently done away with the traditional print and album packages to go completely digital. This simplifies matters and gives you the option to do what you will with your final digital images as you will own them.

In regard to my wedding galleries at the above links, I invite you to note the quality of lighting, the relaxed and romantic poses and so on. In regards to digital manipulation I doi it all myself, and such images are included in your digital package as per the price list below.

You own the images, with all high resolution files burnt to 3 DVD's.
It includes 3 hours at any location, but please allow time for romantic candids!

Travel time and expense is added at $30 per hour around Boise, and $45 per hour beyond
Additional hours of photography are $155 per hour beyond the 3 hours included in this option
If your photography takes less than 3 hours there is an $80 credit per hour
There are no prints included

Payment terms

When your wedding date is reserved with a deposit you qualify for 40% off my digital portrait prices as per the link below.

The discount only applies to your engagement pictures!
PORTRAIT PRICE LIST

PLEASE NOTE

A $300 deposit is required to secure your wedding date, on a first come, first served basis

A second deposit of $300 is required at the pre-wedding conference - usually the week of your wedding - and the balance of your account is then due at the time of delivery your photograph order. Should your total account including sales tax and travel be less than $600 you will be refunded the balance.

Your deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation. See the Wedding Photography Agreement for details.

No date will be held until your deposit is received. I accept deposits on a first come, first served basis only. Payments can be made online here, or I accept credit cards over the telephone. Checks also welcome, and can be mailed to the address below.

Prices will not change after you have paid your deposit. This page is your guarantee, so please print a copy for your files.

A 50% deposit is required with all subsequent photograph orders. You may deduct 5% from your total if orders and packages are pre-paid and made within 4 weeks of you receiving the wedding proofs.

All photographs are the property of the Photographer unless purchased. I will invoice you for the proof album, proofs, and wedding photography time if not returned within the 6 week period. Please get in touch if you require more time to show proofs to family and friends.

All orders are shipped via insured mail for a flat fee of $11. For multiple addresses add $7 per address.

Copyright on all photographs remains with the Photographer. Copying of any photograph without written permission is a violation of copyright laws.

John T. Baker Photographer LLC reserves the right to reproduce any photograph for display, web, competition or exhibition.

Upon receipt of your $300 deposit you will receive a photograph suggestion list and Wedding Photography Agreement.

I can further assist with photograph ideas at the pre-wedding conference, which I recommend the week approaching the wedding to ensure a smooth-running wedding day.

Having professionally photographed weddings in the British Isles and United States since 1978, I care a great deal about quality and customer satisfaction.

I shoot digital exclusively these days, and my indoor lighting is invariably provided by studio lights or bounced flash if the situation demands it. Direct flash is only used for fill-in outdoors, for a handful of candids, and when absolutely necessary indoors.

From the lighting and composing techniques through to your finished digital images, I take the utmost care in ensuring that your special day is recorded as creatively, naturally and sensitively as possible.
